Love hurts,
bleeds us dry.
It goes, it comes.
She’s never invited,
She fights her way in.
Takes over our being.
Gives us wings,
Shows fear,
Lends strength.
Joins hope,
Displays faith,
Confidence,
Fear,
Confusion,
Power,
Wonder.
Makes us laugh, makes us cry.
Over all:
Love starts, Love stops,
Love hurts.
