Help
I try to help,
yet only seem to hurt you even more,
not knowing what to say,
I sit there in silence,
I say I’m sorry,
you tell me to leave you alone,
it hurts,
not knowing what to say,
why can’t I be there for you,
like you were for me,
I just don’t know how to,
to help you,
I wish you would tell me how I could,
give me a hint,
a suggestion,
anything,
just talk to me,
I know you are sad,
and probably mad,
yet you just sit there,
seeing you like this hurts me,
seeing people sad, specially my friends,
always makes me sad,
where is the smile you used to have?
why isn’t it around?
people miss that smile.
